Trend Micro HouseCall for Windows

Not sure at this point if it is working or not. Will have to wait & see.. Yes. I am currently trying to use Trend Micro HouseCall on an Acer Win10 64 bit computer which is infected with the Zepto virus. Material says it will automatically stop Win Defender but it did not. It ran fine and found 1100 files (full scan) however everytime I try to run fixit, it opens the window saying do not close until it is done but basically seems to freeze up. I let it run for 7 hrs and there was know visible change so I closed it and started all over. This time same result but it only found 370 files. I am currently doing it again to see what it finds. This fix window needs some work. Should have a moving icon of some sort to let you know it is running and some kind of progress meter so you can determine how much longer etc. However, it is the only product which appears to address this particular virus (ZEPTO) which is very bad. Pros: Easy to use if it works. Supports most very current Viruses. Cons: Visual notification it is running and progress measurement.Fix routine needs work!
